I found out about it after I had removed the 1970's linotile flooring in one room in our old cottage. The second room didn't get done 🤔

Old black toilet systems we have all seen them asbestos binding in them, coroners court in Hull all the internal window cills polished asbestos! Daughters new to her Edwardian house all the lino floors held down with the bloody stuff!!!

Been two steps forward and one step back on every single part of this re-vamp of the heating and electrical circuitry.

I'm knackered and fed up to the back teeth with this, It has probably been a bigger job than I should have taken on.

I cannot work the long days I used to and I am noticing how much slower I am, even compared to just a couple of years ago.

With the result, this has dragged on for week after week.

Probably would have been just about ok if everything had gone even reasonably smoothly.

However it seemed that every stage introduced a new job as it showed the existing systems to be inadequate for expansion.

Ah well, worse things happen at sea, or so they say.

I am pottering for the next couple of days as I am waiting a replacement part, as I said .... every stage (sigh).

I probably will spend some of the time having a major sort out of all my tools and returning them to their correct places.

Moving plug sockets today. Have a joyous morning of crawling around in the void under the floor.
For some reason the previous inhabitants put in way more cable than needed (a change of plan maybe), so will tack it all up before crawling out.

As usual not a lot happening at Loddon towers,
Only job for today is to go to the Christmas Tree farm to collect our tree. Which will then sit on the verandah until sometime in December when Christmas is allowed inside.🥱
