Got this via email. Just to cover what they want to do anyway???
Consultation on future boat licence pricing Hello,
The Canal & River Trust will shortly be launching a consultation with boaters to gather feedback on boat licence pricing over the next ten years to help support the long-term future of the 2,000 miles of waterways that our charity looks after. We have engaged DJS Research to run the consultation on behalf of the Trust. They will be sending out an invite to you to take part in the consultation questionnaire in the next week. The invite will not come from a Canal & River Trust email address but from an @djsresearch.com email address.
Please be assured that this is a genuine request and we encourage you take part in the consultation to give your feedback on options for future boat licence pricing. If you do not receive an invitation to take part in the consultation – please check your junk/spam box in case the email has gone there.
If you still cannot find the invite, please contact us on 03030 404040 and we can arrange for the consultation invite to be re-sent to you. When the consultation launches, you will be able to read more information on our national consultations webpage National consultations | Canal & River Trust (canalrivertrust.org.uk). The consultation will run until Thursday 6 April 2023.

Maybe they want to assess how much better my mental health will be if they halve the price?
